FIT Real Estate selects parties as investors as well as constructors and suppliers who share out vision. Parties whose interests are align with our agenda. We strive to set up innovative cluster-based collaborations with a variety of stakeholders, including pension funds, (health) insurance companies, governments, committed investors and investment funds. Because financing is not only about the money! It is built on trust and a joined perspective on values that benefit society in the long run.
Therefore, we repeatedly ask ourselves: what influences which features of supply and demand? For example, in the Netherlands we see a shortage of affordable and flexible homes for starters and small households, a lack of options for senior citizens to live independently and a clear need for multi-use facilities. At the same time, many of the country’s commercial buildings and retail properties stay vacant. FIT Real Estate’s solution is to build affordable and flexible homes for single to four-member households in vacant multi-tenant commercial buildings – augmented by various shared facilities like e.g. swimming pools, a fitness centre and public meeting areas.
A lot is possible by transforming the current vacant buildings. Same when it comes to new housing concepts for senior citizens. For example, the elderly can take advantage of integrated digital facilities to continue living in their own home. If properly supported by tailored care maybe even longer. Regardless of current market demands, development involves a lot more. It is our job to ensure that aspects like new legislation, developments in energy transition and product development are effectively integrated in the proposed solutions.
